We’re dog people, but cats are cool, too. All pets stay for free at the LINE DC: no fees, no weight limits, and no hassle.

Our Front Desk team is on hand to recommend neighborhood walks, parks, and pet-friendly bars and restaurants.

We kindly ask you to inform the Front Desk if you are planning to bring your pet, as a signed waiver is required. Additional fees may apply if deep cleaning is necessary. Please see details on the Pet Waiver Form. Please note that pets are not to be left unattended in guest rooms, and are not permitted in restaurant or bar spaces at the hotel.

Our gym is located on the fourth floor and includes a variety of equipment including treadmills, various weight machines, a Peloton bike, ellipticals, medicine balls, yoga mats, straps, and weights.

TOYS

We have a selection of Follies play sets available for children 4+ during your stay. Please dial the Front Desk for assistance. Follies is a developmental toy created by Chloe Varelidi, a Washington, DC-based architect turned play designer who believes it’s never too early to develop an eye for design.

Play sets are sanitized after each use. If you’d like to take the set home, or if it’s damaged, a $250 fee will be added to your bill.

FLOWERS

We are situated within 10 minutes of Downtown LA’s flower district and have relationships with florists throughout the city. Please contact the Front Desk Team for any floral needs.

BLUETOOTH ALARM CLOCK & RADIO

Your room is equipped with a bluetooth alarm clock and radio. Dock your device for personalized audio, or tune into AM/FM radio. For local radio, we recommend 89.9 KCRW for music and your morning NPR fix.

Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm. Please contact the Front Desk if you would like to request an early check-in or late check-out. We will make every effort to accommodate your request based on availability. Additional charges may apply for all check-outs up to 2:00 pm. After 2:00 pm, a full night’s charge may be taken.

Pick up a bike at the station across the street, or at any number of stations in Downtown, Central LA, Hollywood, North Hollywood, and on the Westside. Choose your pass (we recommend the 24-hour pass), and download the Metro Bike app for station locations and real-time bike and dock availability.

Your Vehicle

Lock your vehicle and do not leave money or valuable items visible inside. The Hotel is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Traveling

Be observant when sightseeing or traveling. Stay in well-lit spaces and heavily traveled areas. Don’t display large amounts of cash.

Guest Room Security

For additional security, please utilize the deadbolt provided on your door upon entering and secure windows. This will prevent the door from being opened by a regular room key. Do not admit people into your room without confirming their identity. A peephole is located on the door for your convenience. If there is any doubt about a person’s true identity, please contact the Front Desk.

In-Room Safe

Do not leave money or valuables in your room. An in-room safe is provided for your convenience. For proper use, please refer to the directions on the safe and use a 4-digit code.

Key Card

Safeguard your key card. Do not leave it on your door. Do not give your key card to others or leave it unattended.

Reporting

Please familiarize yourself with the location of the nearest fire exit stairway. Report fire or smoke to the hotel operator. In the unlikely event of a fire, please move quickly but calmly to the stairs and exit the building. Avoid the use of elevators.

Recreational Activities

Please familiarize yourself with and abide by the posted rules concerning the use of exercise or other recreational equipment. We hope that these procedures will contribute to your comfort and wellbeing during your stay.

HOUSEKEEPING

For safety reasons, we ask that you vacate the room when requesting service. Don’t hesitate to call the front desk to schedule a time frame that works best for you.

LAUNDRY

Laundry and dry-cleaning services are available seven days a week. Items sent out by 9:00am will be delivered to your room by 7:00pm. Pricing is located on the laundry form. Please dial Housekeeping or extension 3046 for in-room pick-up before 9:00am.

SMOKING

Our rooms are non-smoking. An additional cleaning fee of $250 will be applied for smoking.

ICE

Ice machines are conveniently located on each floor, and ice buckets are in each room’s closet. Ice delivery is also available.

For the creation of the hotel’s interiors, Knibb Design drew inspiration from the culture of Los Angeles. Led by designer Sean Knibb, the studio’s mission is to change the way people feel in their environment, whether that’s a luxury estate in Beverly Hills or the 66th Street School in South Central Los Angeles. At the LINE, Knibb weaves subtle local touches together with handmade furnishings from his Venice Beach studio to create distinctive modern interiors that complement each room’s floor-to-ceiling views.

JOSIAH CITRIN

Citrin, the chef behind Openaire, the LINE’s greenhouse restaurant, is a culinary expert and veteran of LA’s gourmet dining scene with more than 25 years of experience. A three-star Michelin chef and owner of Charcoal Venice and Santa Monica’s highly acclaimed Melisse Restaurant, Citrin approaches all of his restaurants with the culinary philosophy, “In Pursuit of Excellence.”

Founded in January 2013 on Melrose Place in Los Angeles, Alfred Coffee has prided itself on first-class service since its inception. The caffeine purveyors serve coffee, their signature matcha, and takeaway treats in the Lobby.
