The LINE DC, once a church, was a built for gathering. With more than 10,000 sq. feet of thoughtfully-considered and versatile LEED Silver Certified indoor and outdoor event space (plus abundant natural light, rooftop views, and a dedicated banquets and catering team), the hotel offers an event experience unlike any other in Washington, DC. From intimate weddings to grand celebrations, from meetings to brand activations to conferences, every event at the LINE is truly memorable. This is the place (it really, really is).

MAKE IT SPECIAL

Our on-site special events team can help create an unforgettable experience, from intimate dinner parties to wedding ceremonies, multi-day corporate events, and takeovers of our entire 110-year old church.

Smaller breakout spaces make for between-meeting respites (or hair & makeup);  cocktail hours are guaranteed across salon-style venues and suites built for entertaining; grand bashes and galas can span the entirety of the LINE DC with up to 800 attendees. Private and group dining options are almost endless – you just have to get started.

EAT & DRINK

We strive to make dining at the LINE DC as exciting and memorable as each event we plan. With our commitment to sourcing the best ingredients of the region, each event menu we create carries with it a true sense of place. Likewise, our wine and cocktail programs feature locally-distilled spirits and biodynamic wines. For the moments in-between, No Goodbyes, our onsite, all-day restaurant, bar, coffee shop and café, offers an eclectic mix of feel-good dishes morning, noon, and night.

    Nowhere in the LINE Hotel does our former incarnation as a church shine more brightly than The Mezzanine. Stained glass windows surround vaulted ceilings, and leather, wood, and marble accents create one of the most stunning spaces in Washington, DC, with space for intimate gatherings and grand events, from private dining to partial and full restaurant buyouts.

    At the heart of the hotel tower is a magical urban escape: Carina. Skylights in the vaulted ceilings flood the space with natural light and reveals handmade terracotta tiles, polished black granite, and leather details.     Walk up the marble stairs of the historic church and you’ll step into the expansive 1,510 sq. foot Banneker Foyer outside The Ballroom. Stone and marble floors, natural light, coffered ceilings, and custom millwork give a nod to its history, yet create a definitively modern feel.

    Perched at the top of Adams Morgan’s main artery and overlooking 18th Street, the LINE DC has a vantage point unlike anywhere else in the city. Take it all in on our Vela Rooftop Terrace with a panoramic view of the nation’s capital and the Washington Monument. The massive, fully-landscaped 5,590 sq. foot space can be uniquely customized to create a truly special experience.
