Plan Your Holidays in LA

Most of LA’s holiday traditions are a short drive or a Metro ride from Koreatown. The D Line at Wilshire/Normandie, across the street from the hotel, runs straight into Downtown.
Holiday Lights
L.A. Zoo Lights fills Griffith Park with oversized animal lanterns, light-up swings and interactive displays. Griffith Park is about a 20-minute drive north.
Christmas at The Grove
Each fall, The Grove puts up a 100-foot white fir and decorates it with more than 15,000 lights and 10,000 ornaments. The tree lighting is free, and snow falls every evening through the season. The Grove is about a 15-minute drive west of the hotel.
Ice Skating Downtown
The rink at Pershing Square is the largest outdoor rink in LA, set among Downtown’s towers and lit for the season. Take the D Line to Pershing Square station.
Holidays at The Music Center
Downtown’s Music Center hosts holiday concerts and sing-alongs all season, including the “Messiah” Sing-Along at Walt Disney Concert Hall and the L.A. County Holiday Celebration on Christmas Eve. Take the D Line to Civic Center/Grand Park.
