Spring in Washington, DC is a many splendored thing. The LINE’s take on the season includes arts and culture programming, celebrations of seasonal and locally-grown ingredients, nods to international holidays like Hinamatsuri and Tango No Sekku, and – of course – hotel stays, all season long.

Grower's Season

It all starts with ramps, and then comes asparagus. A Rake’s Progress is settling into Grower’s Season – that time of year when Spring is truly in bloom, and the farms and fields of the Mid-Atlantic are offering all things new, exciting, and abundant. The daily-changing menu at Rake’s follows suit.

POW! WOW! DC

For ten days in May, a curated group of artists from around the globe will travel to Washington, DC to paint larger-than-life murals as part of international mural festival POW! WOW! DC.

The LINE DC is home base for the local, national, and international artists taking part, and we’re celebrating by way of our ongoing public art program:

During the month of May, “Observing Flow,” an original artwork by POW! WOW! artist Priscilla Yu, will be displayed on the façade of our 110-year old church.
