We’re part of Soho House & Co Inc., a global membership platform that connects people through digital and physical spaces that includes Soho House, and we operate properties in LA, Washington DC, Austin, San Francisco, Palm Springs (Saguaro) and New York (The Ned NoMad).

Transportation
What parking options are available at the hotel?

Valet parking is available at the LINE Austin and tax is charged. The rate is $20 for up to two hours, $30 for two to six hours, and $40 for six to 12 hours. When parking for our restaurants, Arlo Grey or P6, parking is $10 for three hours. Overnight parking is also available for a nightly rate of $54 plus tax.

Is there valet parking? If so, how does the valet parking work?

Yes, valet parking is available at the hotel entrance, and tax is charged. The rate is $20 for up to two hours, $30 for two to six hours, and $40 for six to 12 hours. When parking for our restaurants, Arlo Grey or P6, parking is $10 for three hours. Overnight parking is also available for a nightly rate of $54 plus tax.

Can I leave my car in the parking garage after checking out? Will there be an additional charge?

Yes. Parking rates apply by the hour, and tax is charged. Rates: For 0-2 hours, $20. For 2-6 hours, $30. For 6-12 hours, $40. For 12-24 hours, $54.

Is there an airport nearby?

Yes. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is 7 miles away.

What will it cost to hire a cab or town car from the airport to the hotel?

Prices vary based on traffic, time of day, and the car service used, but range from $25 to $35.

Is there a major train/bus station nearby?

The LINE Austin is steps from the Cesar Chavez / Brazos bus stop (2 route).

What’s the best way to get around the city?

ATX Metro Bikes (there’s a station across Congress Avenue from the hotel), rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, and dockless scooters and bikes from Bird, Lime, Lyft, and others.

Hotel Policies
What are the normal check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3pm, and checkout is at 12pm.

Can I check in early?

Yes, if your room is available. A fee might be required depending on how early you’d like to check in.

How late can we check in?

Guests can check in as late as necessary — with notice — before midnight of their arrival date.

What is required to check-in?

A valid identification and a credit card.

What type of credit cards are accepted at the hotel?

We accept all major credit cards except pre-paid debit cards and virtual cards. We do not yet accept Paypal, Cash App, Square, or Apple Pay.

Does the hotel accept traveler’s checks as payment?

No.

Can a third party pay for my reservation?

Yes. Please have the third party complete a credit card authorization form at least three days prior to your arrival. Reach out to the reservations team at reservations.atx@thelinehotel.com or call 512-478-9611 to request the form.

Will my credit card be charged when I make my reservation?

If you chose a prepaid rate, your card will be charged right away. For other rates, a valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation, but the card is not charged at the time of booking. There are also options to pay later at the hotel.

Does the hotel require any kind of deposit prior to checking-in?

Deposits are required only on prepaid, nonrefundable bookings. Please check the Deposit & Cancellation policies when completing your reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours before 3pm of your arrival date to avoid cancellation charges (with the exception of nonrefundable bookings, which are non-cancellable). For changes made after the cancellation period, one night’s room and tax will be charged.

What is the nonrefundable reservations policy?

When a nonrefundable reservation is cancelled, the deposit will not returned. If the reservation is booked directly with the hotel, the balance may be applied to a future stay.

What happens if I damage the guest room?

Security will investigate, and guests are responsible for damages. Our smoking fee is $250.

Will I be charged for an early departure?

Early departures without a 48-hour notice will be charged for an early departure fee of one night room and tax.

Is there a limit to how long I can stay?

You may stay at the LINE Austin for no more than 29 days. For stays longer than 21 days, please reach out to the hotel directly.

Hotel Amenities
What room options are available at the hotel?

We have a variety of rooms, studios, and suites with either a king bed or double beds and views of either Lady Bird Lake or the city. ADA-accessible rooms and suites are also available and are equipped with a roll-in or transfer shower, toilet with grab bars, lower vanity, visual alarm, and notification devices.

Are there smoking rooms? And can I smoke in public spaces?

We do not offer smoking rooms, and smoking is not allowed on property. Our smoking fee is $250 for guest rooms.

Do all of your rooms have private baths?

Yes.

Is there housekeeping service?

Yes.

What type of in-room technology can I expect?

Cable TV, high-speed Wifi, outlets with charging ports, Bluetooth speaker.

I love some of the items in my room, can I purchase them and take home with me?

Yes. Items and their prices are listed in the minibar section of the compendium (scan the in-room QR code to access). The items will be charged to your credit card upon checkout.

Do you have room service?

Yes, in-room dining is available.

Can I have ice sent to my room?

Yes. You can order ice through the Front Desk or in-room dining. Ice machines are also available on odd-numbered floors.

Are there minibars in the rooms?

Yes.

What room amenities are available at the hotel?

Cable TV, high-speed Wifi, Nespresso machine and coffee pods, palo santo, curated minibar, bath robe and slippers, Cowshed bath products, in-room safe, vanity mirror (upon request), bluetooth alarm clock, steamer, hair dryer.

Can I have my clothes laundered and dry cleaned?

No.

Do you have a shoe shine service?

No.

How do I schedule a wake-up call?

Please connect with the Front Desk team, and they will arrange a wake-up call for you.

If I am traveling on business, what types of services can you support me with?

We offer high-speed wireless internet and many different types and sizes of meeting rooms.

Do you have a gym or fitness center? If so, what type of equipment can I expect?

Yes. Our gym is open 24 hours and has Peloton bikes, free weights, various weight machines, and eliptical machines.

Where can I securely store my valuables?

We offer a safe in each guest room. Our bellmen can also store extra luggage before check-in or after check-out.

Can I send a package to the hotel?

Yes.

Can I bring my pet to the hotel?

Yes. Pets are welcome at the LINE Austin free of charge.

Yes: One rollaway bed is available upon request for king rooms only.

Experience
Does the hotel have a concierge?

Our guest experience coordinator is available Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. Otherwise, our front office team performs all concierge services.

Which languages are spoken by the staff at the hotel?

English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, French, Dutch, and Nepali.

What food & drink options are available at the hotel? Does the hotel have restaurants & bars on site?

Our lobby is home to Alfred Coffee (for food and drinks) and Arlo Grey, a lakeside restaurant where the bountiful ingredients of Central Texas are transformed into French- and Italian-inspired dishes from Kristen Kish (Top Chef winner and host of Fast Foodies and Restaurants at the End of the World). P6 is our rooftop bar and restaurant where open skies and views of Lady Bird Lake come with every order, and we also house the only brick-and-mortar location of Austin’s favorite taco spot, Veracruz All Natural. Bonus: Order drinks and Veracruz tacos at the pool bar. We also offer in-room dining.

What activities are there to do at the hotel?

Luxuriate over dinner at Arlo Grey, grab an afternoon drink at P6 (happy hour is from 4-6pm) and stay to watch the sunset over Lady Bird Lake. Lounge by the pool, work out in the fitness center, and enjoy regular programming like tarot readings, Saturday yoga, open studio hours with our artist-in-residence, DJ sets, live music, and more. Does the restaurant have a pool?

Our pool is adjacent to, but separate from, the Arlo Grey restaurant. Drinks and tacos from Veracruz All Natural can be ordered at the pool bar. The pool is open to hotel guests daily from 6am to 10pm.

What should I do and see during my stay?

Our Neighborhood Guide is regularly updated, and our front desk team is always on hand to make suggestions.

Which popular attractions are close to the hotel?

South Congress Bridge, Greenbelt Hike & Bike Trail, Texas Capitol, The Contemporary Austin (art museum), Rainey Street (bars and venues), Mexican American Cultural Center, Sixth Street (bars), Red River Cultural District, Terry Blacks BBQ, Barton Springs Pool.

What are some popular restaurants close to the hotel?

Red Ash, La Condesa, North Italia, J Carver’s, Lamberts, and The Capital Grille are favorites. Our front office team can provide a plethora of options in the area.

What are some popular venues close to the hotel?

Muliple venues are close to the LINE Austin, including the Paramount Theatre (half a mile), Moody Ampitheater (one mile), Violet Crown (half a mile), and the Long Center for Performing Arts (just over a mile).
