Full Saturation is a celebration of color and vibrancy designed to spark joy in the viewer. Running from August 1 through October 31, this dynamic group exhibition features artwork by DMV-based artists Aphra Adkins, Genie Ghim, Rose Jaffe, and Kate Sable, each bringing their unique approach to bold, saturated color palettes and contemporary visual expression.
From Adkins’ tangible interpretations of everyday objects as they exist in the mind’s eye, to Ghim’s hard-edged abstractions that merge popular culture with personal narratives, the exhibition showcases the diverse ways artists engage with color as both medium and message. Rose Jaffe contributes her mural painting and printmaking expertise, while Kate Sable’s process-led abstractions explore the physical act of painting through undulating curves and intuitive image construction.
Full Saturation is part of the LINE DC’s ongoing exhibition series in partnership with Transformer, a Washington, DC-based 501(c)(3) artist-centered nonprofit visual arts organization. Since 2002, Transformer has been dedicated to connecting, elevating, and serving emerging and mid-career artists in the DC region through innovative exhibition platforms and community engagement.
