Full Service Radio at the LINE DC

Join visual artist Robin Ha on Saturday, September 7 at Full Service Radio at the LINE DC as she sets up shop from 11AM – 2PM. Robin will be offering 10 minute mini-portrait commissions, and original artwork, art prints, zines, her cookbook Cook Korean!, and silk-screened t-shirts will all be on hand.

Robin Ha (she/her) is the author and the illustrator for Cook Korean!: A Comic Book With Recipes, a New York Times bestseller cookbook graphic novel. She was born in South Korea and moved to the United States when she was fourteen. After graduating from RISD, she has been working as a freelance cartoonist and an illustrator in NY and Washington, DC. Her memoir graphic novel, Almost American Girl, about her immigration experience from Seoul, Korea to Huntsville, is scheduled to come out in January 2020, published by Balzer + Bray, an imprint of Harper Collins.

Robin’s mission as an artist is to share her cultural and personal experiences through comics. Aside from drawing comics, she has been given numerous talks and cooking demos to share her knowledge and love for Korean food culture around the United States.
