Diary comics? Comics journalism? @hannahgoodart, the comics editor for the @washingtonpost, came by the LINE Austin to give us a lesson in using the skills that journalists use to record our everyday moments. Hot on the heels of her appearance at the LINE DC, Hannah arrived in Texas to teach us how to use comics as a way of thinking at Draw Your Life, a sold-out workshop.

Touch base with all your senses, she encouraged us, and use simple forms to amplify meaning. Her overarching rule: Remember to have fun. Well, we did. Thank you, Hannah, for sharing your best tips with us.
