Root Division Presents: Rachel Dean & Dominique Birdsong
June 1 - September 30
Selected works by Rachel Dean and Dominique Birdsong are now on display at Alfred Coffee in the LINE SF. We’re proud to house these important works as the third installation of our quarterly rotating art exhibition curated by Root Division.
Root Division is a visual arts nonprofit that connects creativity and community through a dynamic ecosystem of arts education, exhibitions, and studios. Located near the hotel at 1131 Mission Street at 7th, the space hosts classes and a monthly, 2nd-Saturday exhibition series that is free and open to the public.
Rachel Dean’s work is an attempt to build a bridge between painting and textiles, driven by a fascination with the space “between” these practices and others.
Dominique Birdsong is a multimedia artist from Los Angeles whose work is an invitation to their reality, inviting the audience into a space that is filled with vulnerability and vagueness.
The installation will be on display in Alfred Coffee through September 30th, 2023.
