East Never Loses and Hennessy present the Year of the Horse Mahjong Tournament on Feb. 19, from 6PM to 12 AM. In the zodiac, the Horse represents passion, energy, and momentum—all qualities that define a Mahjong Champion.

Price: Free to attend with RSVP. $50 to compete and limited to 64 players.
Prize: $1,000 cash prize, sponsored by Hennessy.
What’s included with free RSVP: There will be mahjong tables for casual play in the lobby and a Hennessy karaoke room at Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
Mahjong style: Taiwanese 16-tile Mahjong using a no-points format. Instead of tracking scores, the first player at each table to win two games advances to the next round. This format keeps gameplay fast and competitive, with clear progression and less downtime, while putting the focus on strategy, momentum, and strong play rather than point calculations.

7:30–8:30 PM: Elimination Round
8:30–9:00 PM: Break
9:00–10:00 PM: Semifinals
10:30–11:00 PM: Break
11:00 PM–12:00 AM: Finals
