Since opening our doors in Koreatown in 2014, you’ve come here to meet, talk, eat, drink, play, dance, and experience something new. You’ve gone to sleep and woken up HERE. We’re everything because of you.

So HERE is to ten years of connection. We’ve put together a festival-style weekend for you at the LINE LA with a crop of partners and friends from across our cities for a lineup of events and activations that showcase the creative people at play in and around the LINE. A pool party, a dance party — or five, happy hours, a wellness morning a gallery afternoon and more.

Did you know that more than 70% of all beauty supply stores that cater to black and brown communities in the U.S. are Korean-owned? @dana_dav popped up Dana’s Beauty Supply as an experimental installation to reimagine the beauty supply store as a space for critical dialogue, solidarity, and creativity.

During her residency at the LINE LA, @dana_dav facilitated conversations around the beauty supply industry, its history, and the tensions that exist within it while envisioning a future with solidarity at the forefront. Ultimately, she created a space of healing for our guests, the LA community, and beyond.
