Meet the (DC) Family: Erik Bruner-Yang

Erik Bruner-Yang has what DC wants. Since opening a tiny ramen shop Toki Underground in 2011, the city has pushed him to level-up, and now he has Maketto and Shopkeepers as well.

At the LINE DC he’s gone back to his roots, and is forging ahead. The ten-seat restaurant Spoken English is inspired by Japanese tachinomiyas, while lobby restaurant and bar Brothers And Sisters will dish up American classics created from a Taiwanese and Japanese point of view.
