Erik Bruner-Yang has what DC wants. Since opening a tiny ramen shop Toki Underground in 2011, the city has pushed him to level-up, and now he has Maketto and Shopkeepers as well.
At the Line DC he’s both going back to his roots and forging ahead. The ten-seat restaurant Spoken English will serve a tasting menu inspired by blue plate diner specials and Japanese dishes, while lobby restaurant and bar Brothers & Sisters will dish up American classics created from a Taiwanese and Japanese point of view.
