From found furniture to fine art, the in-room visuals at the LINE DC are as multilayered as the city that inspired them. Five-book libraries from Idle Time sit between granite bookends by design outfit Field. On the walls above, ephemera and postcards and framed hymnal pages – found inside the church, and saved for exactly this – share wall space with textiles, collages, and prints.
Over each brass bed hangs a fine art series by photographer Kate Warren. Inspired by the LINE and created in collaboration with a team of women (and with art direction by our in-room art curator, Svetlana Legetic), a moody pairing of figurative and floral changes from one room to the next – always something new to see; feel.
