The Sweet Feminist Turns a Light Onto Women’s History Month
Becca Rea-Holloway makes the stuff of social media activism dreams. Based in D.C., Becca started “The Sweet Feminist” account to merge her love for baking and delighting others with her energy for organizing, fueled by the 2016 Presidential election. A cathartic practice that helped Becca to vocalize her passions for progressive social issues turned into a widely-loved Instagram account that inspires creative activism all over the world. Becca is the March 2020 banner artist at The LINE Hotel DC, commemorating Women’s History Month with a proud declaration of this Ida B. Wells quote: “The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them.” Listen as Becca talks about cultivating her power and energizing others, one bake at a time.
