Late Bloom with Jamal Gray

Listen to the soulful selections of Jamal Gray, host of “Late Bloom”. Jamal Gray is a conceptual artist, musician, bandleader, radio host and event curator based in Washington, DC. As leader of avant garde jazz troupe Nag Champa and multimedia arts collective CMPVTR CLVB, the D.C. native has used his ingenuity to bridge the gap between the city’s underground art and music scenes. Gray brings his unique perspective as a curator when transforming venues such as The John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts, Smithsonian American Art Museum and Capital Fringe, or unconventional spaces like garages and warehouses.
