The Secret Life of Flowers: Ikebana + Herbal Elixirs with Kyoko Oshiro

June 26 | 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Want to try your hand at the art of Ikebana? Roughly translating to “giving life to flowers,” Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. During this hands-on class with professional Ikebana artist Kyoko Oshiro, you’ll learn how to observe and manipulate flowers, leaves, and even stems to create pieces of art using the traditions of Ikebana.

This beginner-friendly introductory class will focus on the low bowl style, creating simple flower designs that will bring the beauty of nature indoors.

During the class, you’ll also get a chance to sample our “Luminous Elixir” which features blue butterfly pea flower, a potent herb recognized for its ability to calm inflammation.
